On the occasion of Diwali, everyone brings home an idol of Lord Ganesha. Here are the dos and don'ts for placing your Ganesha idol.

- We should worship the idol of Ganesha with the trunk on its right side.

- Should always be placed in the north or northeast direction.

- It should always appear in the extreme right followed by Lakshmi (on Ganesha's left) and other idols.

- There should not be many idols of Lord Ganesha at home. Also, the number of idols of Ganesha should be in odd numbers and never in even numbers.

- A black-colour idol of Lord Ganesha should never be worshipped in North India.

- The icon of Lord Ganesha placed on the main entry of your home should always face inside. However, in temples the icon should always face outwards.

- The size of the idol of Lord Ganesha that you worship should never be more than the size of your palm.

- While sitting in front of Ganesha's icon, his farsa's (weapon's) sharp edge should never point towards you. It will kill your energy aura.

Your Own Wealth Vase

Make a wealth vase and wealth will come to you. Get a beautiful and valuable vase to contain your precious items. Use earth element vases like porcelain, crystal or earthenware, or metal element vases of copper, brass, silver or gold. Opt for the vase with a fairly wide mouth that narrows into a slender neck and then broadens out into a wide bottom. First, put three Chinese coins tied with a red string and then nine Chinese coins tied with red string. Next, fill half of the vase with seven types of semi-precious stones like amethyst, topaz, tiger's eye, malachite, coral, sodalite, cornelian, jade, pearl, jasper, crystal, rose quartz and turquoise. Add some soil from a rich person's garden into your vase to 'borrow' some of their wealth energy. Also, put a red package filled with real money in the vase. Place five types of 'nourishing fruits' (seeds and grain), such as millet, wheat, barley, rice, sorghum, red beans, green beans or soyabeans. Later put ten clear crystal balls and the figure of Wealth God facing inwards. The vase should be filled to the brim. Tie the vase from neck with a cloth of five colours - yellow, white, blue, green and red. Place your earthen pot in the southwest or northeast corner of your home. Metal vase should be kept in the west or northwest corner. The vase must be hidden from others. Wherever hidden, it should never face the front door. See how your wealth increases within no time.

View and concentrate on this image for 10 minutes daily after 2 in the afternoon or after 11 at night. While concentrating, strongly feel and visualise that your wealth is increasing. New sources of income are bound to emerge within a week. Or, draw a circle (with 6 inch radius) and divide the circle into seven parts and paint them with yellow, blue, red, orange, purple, green and light violet. View this image for two minutes during noon (after 2) or night-time (after 11). Close your eyes for five minutes and imagine the circle rotating in a clock-wise direction. You will certainly get financial gains within a week or two.
